Hi there.
Well, there is some good news and some bad. First, the bad news is that I most-likely will not be going to the studio to have the new CD professionally mixed and mastered. The reasons for this, of course, are financial. There will come a time when such things are possible, but that time is not yet.
As a result of this, I will be handling the production myself as I've done with all of my other work. I have gained a lot of experience, however, from the acoustic side project, and doing the production for In Staid Grace recently. The results are really outstanding I think.
The good news is that I will be able to redo all of the vocals, and even the keys, so the quality of sound could really rise much higher due to this event. The original vocals weren't bad, but they definitely could have been better. The original keys were bad quality recorded with the old keyboard. I'll be using a MIDI Controller for the new sounds and creating them in the computer.
So in whichever way to decide to interpret this message, I would just like to say that I am being really nitpicky with this production. If I am not satisfied with how it sounds, I won't rush it out there for you to hear. I want to make the past recording sound like childsplay with this one.
Peace,
Brandon Strader
